Our Canvassing Team
Community solar is a grassroots, community-based solution to expanding renewable energy access and production in our state.
We’ve found that the best way to engage with and educate people about this program is through teams of locally-based representatives canvassing neighborhoods throughout the state.
What to expect from our canvassing team
Did a member of our team knock on your door?
We understand it can be confusing and, sometimes, inconvenient if someone suddenly knocks at your door. If one of our team members knocks on your door to help you understand the state’s community solar program and confirm if you are already receiving credit, here’s what you can expect.
Why many people find in-person meetings helpful to learn about community solar
While community solar programs are based on the state’s existing Net Energy Billing Program that you already pay to administer, the topic is often new and confusing to people. Many customers appreciate an in-person explanation, an opportunity to ask questions, and assistance with the quick process to join a local solar farm. It’s faster and easier than combing through the combination of government and utility resources that are available.
How to know if the person at your door works with us
There are many companies and individuals canvassing the state about community solar. But they aren’t all the same. Our team members are locally-based and receive extensive training. The will always be wearing branded company gear and encourage you to take a picture of their badge.
Our commitment to you, our neighbor.
- An educational approach to understanding community solar
- Helpful and professional representatives
- The best community solar options available
- Ongoing support to answer your questions
How to follow up
If one of our team members stopped by your home and you are interested in learning more about the State’s community solar program, please refer to the picture you took of their badge and reach out so they can help you in-person or over the phone.
